践行“造一部好车”的承诺


造一部车,必须遵循严谨的流程和规则。从2014年推出第一台原型车,到开展全方位测试和试验,小批量试生产,再到通过严格的生产资质审核,前途汽车用“行胜于言”的扎实行动,一步步完成“造一部好车”的承诺。

前途K50采用独具一格的“生灵形•态”设计语言,外观酷似在城市中游弋的鲨鱼。车身全部采用新型复合材料,由全铝合金框架和碳纤维覆盖件共同构成。动力方面,前途K50搭载前后双电机四驱系统,综合最大功率达320kW,百公里加速仅需4.6s,最高车速达200km/h。前途K50前后均搭载双叉臂悬架系统和双稳定杆结构,从而更好地兼顾整车的操控性和乘坐舒适性,底盘经过英国米拉公司专业调校,具有极佳的行驶平顺性和操控稳定性。此外,前途汽车还配备了Brembo四活塞卡钳、19寸锻造铝轮毂、博世ESP等极客装备和流行改装套件,为用户带来极致的驾驶乐趣。

自主打造完整的造车体系

前途汽车攻坚电动汽车核心技术难题,自主掌握三大核心技术:整车控制管理系统(VCU)、可再充电能量储存系统(RESS)、新材料和轻量化技术,使用户可充分体验到电动汽车所带来的驾驶乐趣。截止6月20日,共提交专利申请1190项,其中415项已获得授权。

开创性探索新材料、新工艺

轻量化复合材料是汽车行业发展的战略方向。前途汽车开创性地探索碳纤维复合材料和铝合金框架式车身的批量化制造,并不断革新工艺,提升工艺精度和成熟度,促进中国汽车产业转型升级及装备制造业的创新发展。前途汽车把碳纤维材料大规模应用于汽车领域,并创新性地采用高温快速预浸料模压成型工艺,一步步从基础工艺做起,攻克了诸多技术难题,实现轻量化效果的最大化并提升生产效率。前途汽车建造了国内首条全铝合金框架式车身生产线,充分发挥铝合金“轻”且易于挤压成型的优势,同时经过不断探索,攻克了铝合金焊接热变形大的行业难点。

前途K50集新材料、新工艺为一体,29个碳纤维复合材料零部件总重量仅为46.7kg,比使用传统钢板材料减重40%以上,比使用铝合金材料减重20%以上;全铝合金框架式车身仅重243kg,比使用传统钣金钢制车身减重约38%。这些新材料、新工艺和新技术,也将应用在后续前途汽车的其他量产车型上。

[SUZHOU, June 30, 2018]The first QIANTU production model—the QIANTU K50—has rolled off the production line in Suzhou, delivering the promise of a “high-quality car” and marking its official establishment of a complete car manufacturing system that integrates electric car design, R&D, production and supply chain. With its bold exploration in new materials and new processes, QIANTU is injecting new energy into the innovation-driven development of China’s automobile industry and equipment manufacturing industry.

        Delivering the promise of a “high-quality car”

To make a high-quality car, there is a set of strict procedures and rules. From the manufacturing of QIANTU’s first prototype in 2014, to comprehensive tests and trials, including a small-scale trial production, to obtaining manufacturing approval after a rigorous regulatory review, Qiantu Motor has delivered its promise to build a “high-quality car” through persistent actions.

Distinctive design language was applied to the QIANTU K50, giving it the visual of a shark cruising in the city. Its body is comprised of an all-aluminum frame and carbon-fiber covered parts, all of which incorporate new composite materials. Powered by a front and rear dual electric motor based all-wheel drive system that have a maximum power output of 320kW, it can accelerate from standstill to 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 200km/h. The model’s double wishbone front and rear suspension, dual stabilizer structure, and chassis calibrated by British vehicle-testing company Mira, all provide superb handling, superior comfort, and excellent stability. In addition, it is equipped with a full range of performance and tuning packages such as Brembo 4-piston brake calipers, 19-inch forged aluminum wheels and a Bosch ESP System to provide users with superlative driving pleasure.

        Establishing a complete car manufacturing system

Car manufacturing is a highly systematic form of engineering, requiring vast experience and well-established practices. Knowing and mastering the foundation technologies is the key to reaching the highest-level of car manufacturing.

From the very beginning, Qiantu Motor has been committed to independently establishing a complete NEV manufacturing system. It has worked its way up from foundation technologies, accumulating the right practices step by step and promoting product iteration while driving the industry’s innovation-driven development. Their extensive experience has resulted in QIANTU K50, an achievement that benefits from a well-developed car manufacturing system.

Through unwavering effort, Qiantu Motor has independently mastered three core technologies: vehicle control unit (VCU), rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) and lightweight construction to deliver a vehicle with unprecedented electric driving pleasure. As of June 20, it had filed 1,190 patent applications, of which 415 had been granted.

Qiantu Motor is responsible for the production quality of the entire manufacturing process and has established its own battery system production line in addition to their car manufacturing plant. Its Suzhou plant houses the first carbon fiber automotive part production line and the first all-aluminum body frame production line in China. At the same time, it has independently constructed its battery system production line. The Suzhou plant complies the strictest environmental standards and is the first car plant to be established in compliance with the Administrative Regulations on Taihu Lake Basin. In addition to zero wastewater discharge, it complies with emissions standards that are more stringent than the national standards as well. In alignment with ‘Industry 4.0’, Qiantu Motor’s Suzhou plant delivers a high level of flexible, automated and individualized production.

        Pioneering in the use of new materials and new processes

Lightweight composite materials are a strategic new direction for the automobile industry. Qiantu Motor has pioneered the application of carbon fiber composite materials and aluminum alloy frame in production car manufacturing. It has steadily refined its processes to achieve precise and mature systems, driving the transformation of China’s car manufacturing industry while leading the innovation-driven development of its equipment manufacturing industry. By successfully applying carbon fiber materials to car manufacturing on a large scale and overcoming a series of challenges to adopt a high-temperature quick prepreg compression molding process, Qiantu Motor has maximized lightweight construction and greatly increased production efficiency. Qiantu Motor offers the first all-aluminum body frame production line in China’s automobile industry and has not only maximized the lightweight and pliable properties of aluminum alloy, but also solved the welding-induced thermal deformation of aluminum alloy through extensive R&D work.

Built with intensive use of new materials and processes, the QIANTU K50 has 29 carbon fiber parts which combine to weight only 46.7kg, making the model approximately 40% lighter than if made from steel or more than 20% lighter than aluminum alloy. Its all-aluminum body frame weighs just 243 kg, approximately 38% lighter than traditional steel frames. These new materials, processes and technologies will also be used on future production models by Qiantu Motor.
