[BEIJING, July 31, 2018] -- Qiantu Motor’s first production model, the QIANTU K50, has been officially included in the NEV List for Purchase Tax Exemption jointly released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration of Taxation in their 19th announcement on July 31, 2018, making it eligible for purchase tax exemption and directly reducing its purchase cost for consumers, in a piece of great news for the model soon to hit the market.
Before that, Qiantu Motor had obtained approval from the National Development and Reform Commission for its “Passenger NEV Project with Annual Production Capacity of 50,000 Cars”, passed the dual qualification review of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology by appearing in the MIIT Announcement of Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products (No. 306) and MIIT Announcement of Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products (No. 308) and, on June 30, 2018, officially rolled the QIANTU K50 off its production line in its plant in Suzhou, moving steadily ahead to deliver its promise to build a “high-quality car” with solid actions.
The QIANTU K50 will officially go on sale on August 8, 2018. By then, it will bring a superior electric roadster experience that exceeds expectations to more consumers.
